Around midnight - the waning moon was just rising - the milky way passed thru zenith and presented itself with a wealth of details. To show the full milky way band I took a three row panorama, each row consisiting of 7 exposures of 90sec with a 15mm lens @ f/3.5, ISO 800. The astrotracer function of the camera was activated to keep stars as solid dots.
