Altdorfer Wald

Der Altdorfer Wald ist das mit etwa 82 km²größte zusammenhängende Waldgebiet Oberschwabens.

Aktuell ist er viel im Gespräch zum Thema Kiesabbau und Windräder. 

Der Wald besteht aus einem großen Teil Wirtschaftswald mit überwiegend Fichtenbäume und ein Teil Bannwald. An den Wegesrändern sind viele Blumen und Insekten zu entdecken. Von August bis Oktober kann man im Wald die meisten Pilze entdecken.
